Huntington Village Hall was officially opened on 15th November 1996 Dr W Logan Jack and Mr FC Hammond.
The New Hall was made possible by Council Grants and Funds Raised by the community such as a Progressive Supper, a Promises Auction, Open Gardens Day, Huntington Castle Walk and Talk and the land was kindly donated by the Jones Family of Lower House Farm. The New Hall replaced the Original Hall which was built in 1927.
Fundraising events such as Quizzes, Curry Evenings, Flicks in the Sticks, village walk and pizza afternoon in August and Huntington Fete are organised to help run the financial side of the Hall. The Hall is also used on a regular basis by the W.I., Ballroom Dancing, Parish Council Meetings, Village Hall Meetings. The Village Hall is available for celebratory parties such as birthdays, anniversaries etc.. Tables, chairs, crockery and cutlery can also be hired for functions at your home.
